What to do once you’ve gotten to Lac La Hache?
The possibilities are endless, but here are a few favorites:
Check out the Lac La Hache Museum!
Head up to the Provincial Park for the day
Golf at 108 Mile House
Watersports are a huge draw when visiting (or living by!) the lake. Bring the bathing suits, googles, water toys, fishing rods and even a boat or jet skis if you have them! Lac la Hache has several public access points to the lake, and a public boat launch in town as well as the Provincial Park area a bit north along Hwy. 97. Apart from the lake, there is the provincial park area and a large stretch of Crownland that is perfect for taking an ATV or horseback adventure in.
Skiing, Cross Country, or Downhill at Mt. Timothy
Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides
Winter in Lac La Hache sees the area covered in a blanket of snow, which is great for dog-sledding or Skiing. Timothy Lake has a very nice hill and facilities for a day of fun!
