Winter Days in Lac La Hache!
Winter is here in Lac La Hache! Days spent by the fire, sipping hot cocoa are a great way to spend the winter in the Cariboo, but Lac La Hache is also a great place to get out and enjoy the snow! Dog sledding is a great way to enjoy the chilly weather, or if you’re looking for something more relaxing, try ice fishing out on the frozen lake. You can also take a short drive up to Mt. Timothy to have a blast downhill skiing!
Lac La Hache is a great tourist destination, whether you come for the winter experience or the summer. During the summer, Lac La Hache is a go-to place for camping, swimming, boating and fishing. Plus, it’s on the Alaska Highway for those who are hitting the road in RVs, and is definitely a place to stop over. Pick up some fresh Okanogan fruit at one of the fruit stands in town and pull into a campground for a few days to enjoy this little gem of a town in British Columbia’s Cariboo!
